December 2023 Newsletter!

AHHHHH! IT'S FINALLY CHRISTMAS SEASON!!

This is quite early, but I hope you all have an amazing Christmas this year, remembering the birth of Jesus Christ. 💛

December is one of my favorite months of the year, because of having no school after the stressful Semester Finals, but we'll ignore those, hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music nonstop, and celebrating Jesus.

Overall, it's a really, really good month. What do you like about December/Christmas? And if you don't like it, then what's your favorite month of the year?

Writing Update

I had and still have *fp* a lot of studying to do, so I didn't have time to write a lot. Which is great, considering that this is a 'writing update' section. But it's okay, since I have Final Exams this month o.O so it's good that I'm studying. 😂

I also wrote a bit of nonfiction this month, and it felt really good to write that. I like writing nonfiction more than I like reading it. Do you like reading Nonfiction?

Life Update

Final Exams! Woo..! Yeah so right now my life is consumed with studying for final exams and lots of life.

It's a great combination if I do say so myself, and it's a recipe for stress, which is great.

Ooh! I'll also have a School Break after my final exams, which is like a beam of light and hope, so that's good. 😂

Musiccc! Yayy! Here are my favourite songs from this month <3

• this is what falling in love feels like by JVKE |I love this song so muchhh. The vibes are immaculate. And it's JVKE, and you really can't go wrong with him, even though his name looks incredibly difficult to pronounce at first.
• From The Start by Laufey |I am not a fan of jazz music, but oh my goodness. Her voice is amazing, and this song is my favourite of hers heh.
• your first Pierre by shimon |This song is so good. Seriously. It's what I listen to when I write, and it gives me melancholy vibes.
• Discord by QWER |I first listened to this song yesterday, and I really like it. It's a band, and that's surprising, since I personally don't listen to that many bands. 😂 Anywho, it's good xPP

On My Bookshelf

• The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn | This was such a fascinating book. It was about WWII but from the POV of a Russian sniper, which was a take that is not common. It was also really interesting to know that this book was based on a Russian sniper in real life. I found this one amazing and read it all in a day. But that was because I had nothing else to do that day xD 4.5/5
• Voices of the Future by The Author Conservatory | Remember this book? If not, I did a Cover Reveal of it in my last email. Anywho, the point is, I read it this month because I was part of the street team. The official launch date is tomorrow, which is extremely excitinggg. The short stories in this book were really good and I thoroughly enjoyed them! The only thing was that these were fantasy short stories and I am not a fantasy reader. Besides that, it was amazing. 4/5
• I also did a lot of rereading this month! I already reviewed those books in previous emails and I really don't want to write them again and make you read them again, so they're just not going to be in this email. 😂

Anddd that's it for this email! Y'all it's the last email of 2023. How has this year already gone by so fast?

Although in a way, it's good that the year is going by fast because I just want to get to break.
