February 2024 Newsletter!

Happy February! It's. . . cloud month? It's not, I totally made that up, but it is pretty gloomy for me so I feel like it's half reasonable.

Reading that again, I don't think it is but I don't care. xD

Anywhooo let's get to the email!

𝒲𝓇𝒾𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒰𝓅𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑒

Writing has been quite good this month! Wayyy better than November-December combined. 😂 Hopefully, that continues on for this monthhhh. *fingers crossed*

So yeah! I've been working on that thriller WIP of mine, which I'm loving, and another WIP that has to do with a cat, which you can never really go wrong with.

Also, are you a cat person or a dog person? I think I'm a cat person, but I keep disagreeing with other people on this subject. xD Cats are soo cute. Can't get me to change my mind on that one.

𝐿𝒾𝒻𝑒 𝒰𝓅𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑒

My life update is pretty simple. When I tell you that it feels like for the entire month of January I struggled through chemistry, it's not a lie. I think my hate + dislike/just the hardness of chemistry has x100, so that's great.

Besides chemistry, I've been really good! Been getting more sleep which is good for my normally sleep-deprived self.

I've also been procrastinating a lot. Believe it or not, me writing this email is me procrastinating. But at least it's productive procrastination. 👌 😂

𝐹𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝑀𝓎 𝒫𝓁𝒶𝓎𝓁𝒾𝓈𝓉

Musiccc! *hums* It's awesome, and I listened to a lot of music this month, so here are my top music recs for you!

• Love wins all by IU | Oh my goodness, I love this song, but I love the music video even more. The MV made me almost cry so go watch that, but also, the song is just amazing.
• Never Acting at All by Melina KB | COMPLETE GEM. This song is sooo good and I had it on repeat for like a week straight. I'm not a person who does theatre but it captures the whole vibe and it's just perfection.
• Maybe My Soulmate Died by iamnotshane | I will admit, 'tis an interesting artist name and it's quite a short song (<3) but it's really good. Like I fell in love with this song. Like I do with a lot of songs, but we won't talk about that.

𝓑𝓡𝓔𝓐𝓓

Y'ALL I MADE BREAD! I honestly cannot believe that I actually did it but anyways, back to the point.

Here's a lovely photo of the bread I madeee!

I used this recipe that my friend Jessica gave me! (She's amazing, btw. Here's her email list if you want to check her out). Also, the photo looks weird in this format but it did actually look really good. ​

I'm not going to lie, I personally did not like the bread, but my mom loved it, so I take that as a win win.

She even made it again, sooo, clear sign, y'all.

And this recipe is so easy to make. I made it in like thirty minutes and everything turned out well! Except, again, that I didn't like it, but someone in my family did! So who knows if you'll like it or not. 😂

𝐸𝓉𝓈𝓎 𝒮𝒽𝑜𝓅 𝒮𝓅𝑜𝓉𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓈

And today, we have two Etsy Shops that I want to spotlight!

First, we have my friend Chloë's crochet shop! The items that she crochets are absolutely adorable and I'm 100% planning on buying one of them soon! You can find her store here! <3 Also it keeps telling me that the link is broken but it works for me? So please lmk if it doesn't for you!

And the other store I'm spotlighting is my friend Molly's store! She has bookmarks, bracelets, and some amazing jewelry! As soon as I get shipping figured out, I'm planning on buying some jewelery from her as well! <3 Here is her shop!

Andd that's it for this month! Are there more bread recipes I should try out? And the important question of this email that I shall bring again because it's important: Are you a cat person or a dog person?
