It's July! And did I send an email last month? Nope. I completely forgot, and I am so sorry.
To be fair to myself though, we were moving, so I'm going to cut myself some slack. Hopefully you can too. π
Writing Update
Again, we were moving and it was just a lot of travelling, so I didn't get much writing done at all.
But I did think about writing, so the spirit counts. xD
Life Update
I moved! It was a lot of boxes and lots of stress but eventually everything got moved from one place to the other.
We actually moved countries which makes the whole process a lot more complicated, but it happened and I'm glad it's over. Now we just have to unpack everything xD

- βChecklist (feat. Chromeo) by MAX | I first heard this song in a clothing store! I used Shazam to figure out what the song was, and I've been listening to it ever since.
- βThese Tears by Andy Grammer| This song is catchy but also really emotional and I love it.
- βFlowers by Samantha Ebert | My friend recommended this song to me and it just hit hard. It's a really good song and I would really recommend it.
On My Bookshelf
I did some reading this past month! I also have a lot of unfinished books that I shall hopefully finish soon. xD But for now, here are my recent reads!
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini | Wow. This book was. . . powerful. I did not like the main character. I thought he was a coward, even though he had his reasons to be one. However, this book had a powerful message and the prose is amazing.
- Chinese Born American by Gene Luen Yang | Um. I'm still kind of confused about this book. π Overall though, I think I liked it. It's a graphic novel, so I did appreciate the art.
