March 2024

Happy Marchhhhh! It's finally warming up and I'm so happy. Also I totally thought the flower in the photo was a cigarette. Anywaysss xD

And I have no other intro stuff to say, so let's get starteddd!

Okay, y'all. Here's some groundbreaking news. I actually wrote a lot this month. I am incredibly surprised, but it's definitely a pleasant surprise. πŸ˜‚

I made progress on my Thriller WIP, and also on my Cat WIP. It's been really fun, which is good, because for the past few months, writing has been draining for me.

I've been doing Lent this past month! It started on Feb. 14, and it'll end on March 28th, so my reflections for Lent will be in the next email.

For now, though, I'm like right in the middle of Lent. I decided to give up junk food, as well as listening to secular music.

Combined with this, I also started journaling and having daily reflections, and I've been feeling a lot less stressed, and more connected to God. It's been great. xD

I highly recommend journaling; I find myself remembering a lot more since I started journaling. xP

Again, as I gave up secular music, all of the music in this playlist will be Christian music.

  • Rattle! by Elevation Worship | Chilllllssss. This song gives me chills every time, and it's just amazing. Elevation Worship has amazing music.
  • Sold Out by Hawk Nelson | This song is so upbeat but it also has an amazing message and I've been listening to it so much this month.
  • The Entire Soundtrack of 'Journey to Bethlehem' | The songs are awesome and this musical was so interesting. They did take creative liberties, but it was fascinating to see how Mary and Joseph might have felt. And their soundtrack is wonderful.

Have you watched 'Journey to Bethlehem'? Let me know!

I'm so excited to help with the cover reveal for Eye of the Storm by Karynn Heckler [IG: @karynn.heckler.author]. Eye of the Storm is an allegorical short story that uses the tale of a girl trapped in a supernatural storm to portray the message of salvation and redemption.

Isn't it absolutely stunning? Here's a little more about it:

EYE OF THE STORM is an allegorical, fantasy short story that follows a broken girl trapped in a storm of fiery ash. She's driven by one mission, to find the eye of the storm and the relief it promises. A battle between hope and darkness is waged as she must choose between fighting to survive or succumbing to the storm that continues to tear her apart.

The short story will be published as an E-book on March 24 and is now available for preorder through Amazon! (It's also only $3, which is an absolute deal heh).

I'm sooo excited for EotS, and I will definitely be getting it!
